Galaxidi, is a town located in the southern part of the prefecture of Phocida. Galaxidi has a small port used by small fishing boats and yachts nowadays. Traditional style has been greatly maintained and is one of the reasons it remains popular with tourists. 
Valia Kalda, in Grevena, is part of the Pindos National Park, one of the most important National Parks in Greece. The area is characterized by dense forests of European black pine and common beech, rocky ridges, several peaks over 2,000 metres, rapid streams and mountain lakes. The park belongs to the Natura 2000 ecological network and is one of the three places in Greece that hosts a population of bears. Valia Calda, which means "Warm valley" in the Vlach dialect, is thus named because it presents important temperature fluctuations during a 24 hour- period, with very high temperatures at day- cloudless and very low tem¬peratures at night.
Alonissos, is the third member of the Northern Sporades after Skiathos and Skopelos. Housing traditionally consists of closely constructed houses with stone walls. A small fortress protected against enemies and pirates. The island and the village were heavily damaged in the 1965 earthquake. Many inhabitants returned not to the village of Alonissos, but to Patitiri. The old village has been restored in recent years, with rebuilt houses now utilised for tourism. The beaches around the island consist of pebbles. The ecosystem in the north side of the island is in good condition. The Mediterranean Monk Seal (Monachus-Monachus) is common around the island.
Serifos is located in the western Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. Snow-white houses with colorful windows, limpid narrow streets, small churches with white or blue domes, traditional windmills, golden sandy beaches that are waiting for you to discover them… This is Serifos, a Cyclades painting!
Karpathos, is the second largest of the Greek Dodecanese islands. The island is located about 47 kilometers southwest of Rhodes, in the part of the Mediterranean which is called, after it, the Carpathian Sea. All ten villages preserve intensively the traditional style of the island.
