Fuerteventura, Spain

Fuerteventura, a Spanish island, is second largest of the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. Sevilla, Spain

Sevilla is the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain. It is the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is situated on the plain of the River Guadalquivir. Seville is more than 2,000 years old. The passage of the various civilizations, instrumental in its growth, has left the city a distinct personality, and a large and well-preserved historical centre. Although it has a strong medieval, renaissance and baroque heritage, the city received heavy influences from Arabic culture. Seville is a gastronomic centre, with a cuisine based on the products of the surrounding provinces, including seafood from Cádiz, olive oil from Jaén, and sherry from Jerez de la Frontera. The tapas scene is one of the main cultural attractions of the city.

Cartagena, Spain

The city of Cartagena is located in the southeastern region of Spain in the Region of Murcia. The Old Town is limited by five small hills (Molinete, Monte Sacro, Monte de San José, Despeñaperros and Monte de la Concepción) following the example of Rome. The territory around Cartagena city hosts an extraordinary natural wealth and diversity, with a high degree of botanical endemic species. Among its numerous Roman remains stands out the recently restored Roman theatre of Carthago Nova that is one of the landmarks of the city.

Alicante, Spain


Alicante (Alacant) is a city in Spain, the capital of the province of Alicante, in the southern part of the Valencian Community. It is also a historic Mediterranean port. The local economy is based upon tourism to the beaches of the Costa Blanca. Alicante enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures throughout the year and little rain. Amongst the most notable features of the city are the Castle of Santa Bárbara, which sits high above the city, and the port of Alicante. Preveli - Plakias, Greece


Preveli - Plakias are located in southern Rethymno in Crete. The historic monastery of Preveli -st John Vaptist, founded in Middle Ages dominates in the area. Its role in the battle of Crete during WWII has been acknowledged and a town in Australia has been named after the monastery. In walking distance, one could explore the magnificent lagoon, known as Palm Beach, where a small river runs through planty of palm trees and falls into the blue sea.
