Samos in Aegean sea, the birthplace of the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras. Wine of the island is well-known in antiquity, and thus a great portion of the island is covered by vineyards. Everyone sould visit the Heraion of Samos and the Pythagoreion.
