Skyros is located in the crystal blue waters of central Aegean, north of Evia. Widely known for its own protected breed of ponies. Partly mountainous and partly rocky authentic and traditional island, but with great beaches. Important landmarks are the venetian castle and the Byzantine monastery of st George.
